Innovative Medicine supply chain (JJIMSC) is recruiting a Senior Packaging Engineer for the Strategic Operation & Packaging department within Manufacturing Science and Technologies.
The Senior Packaging Engineer will provide temperature control qualification, distribution studies, shipping route verification, and other packaging SME support to JJIMSC.
In this role, she / he will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, qualify, and deploy passive shipping solutions (cold, frozen, cryogenic) for new products and lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities include providing secondary and tertiary packaging support for new product launches, technical transfers, and lifecycle activities across JJIM internal and external sites.
General Responsibilities
* Lead transportation study activities, including distribution testing and temperature control qualification.
* Support physical and simulated product protection, cold chain distribution testing, packaging line trials, and equipment / material qualifications.
* Assist with shipping route verification activities.
* Provide packaging material support for supply chain operations.
* Support packaging equipment, process transfer, and new product launch activities, including qualification processes.
* Provide technical support for quality and compliance investigations related to packaging.
* Identify and implement cost improvement projects for packaging.
* Design and develop packaging solutions considering user preferences and limitations.
* Coordinate with internal and external partners for product introduction and technical transfer collaborations.
* Drive the development of innovative packaging technologies and optimize existing processes.
