Job Title: Financial Accountant - European Expansion
We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting operations, performing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable bookings.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience, proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Holded will be a plus), and good command of Excel and digital tools. Fluency in English is required, with additional languages such as French or Portuguese being an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain day-to-day accounting operations for Spain
* Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable bookings
* Monitor operating costs, performing variance analysis and supporting cost-control initiatives
* Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and provide ad-hoc analysis
* Act as ERP key user, contributing to continuous optimization
* Support VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory filings
* Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 3-5 years of accounting experience
* Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Holded will be a plus)
* Good command of Excel and digital tools
* Fluency in English (additional languages such as French or Portuguese an asset)
