Automotive Division
This division manufactures 12V batteries for all powertrain concepts, including internal combustion, electric, and off-road vehicles. We offer lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries for light and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and more. We serve OEMs and the aftermarket with our and our customers’ top brands.
For our growing Automotive division in Manzanares, Spain, we are seeking an:
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Plant Manager
The Plant Manager will lead HSE operations at the manufacturing plant, promoting a safe working environment for employees and contractors, and ensuring compliance with all legal HSE requirements. Responsibilities include driving technical HSE projects, sharing best practices, managing budgets and schedules, leading risk assessments, implementing the Company Management System, and overseeing internal and external audits. The role involves directing HSE programs to ensure compliance with national and local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key duties include developing and implementing the HSE program, company guidelines, and management system; defining and executing investment projects and resource planning for HSE initiatives; preparing and analyzing EHS KPIs and reports; participating in internal audits; conducting plant inspections and HSE assessments; maintaining technical competency through ongoing education; ensuring compliance with legal and other requirements; and engaging with external companies, suppliers, and authorities as needed.
Qualifications include a university degree in Industrial Engineering or similar, a Master’s in Health and Safety, at least 5 years of experience in a similar industrial role, and fluency in English.
