We are looking for an Inspiring Leader for the Ibis Budget brand as **General Manager** for the **Ibis Budget Bilbao Arrigorriaga.**
Your leadership, strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged and unified team, as well as guest satisfaction and maximize operating results for the hotel.
You will bring your strong commercial and business acumen, tenacity to drive the top line, manage costs, increase quality, and find synergies to exceed targets.
About this hotel
This hotel is in Arrigorriaga, 6.5km away from Bilbao and 10km away from the city’s main tourist attractions. The hotel comprises 82 rooms distributed across 4 floors as well as a lounge area where breakfast is served every morning.
**Overview of duties**
- Functions as the primary strategic business leader with overall responsibility of operations of the Hotel to achieve customer (guests, employees, corporate and owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
- Ensure the best quality of service and transmit the ibis Budget state of mind.
- Optimize RevPar by optimizing the various sales channels.
- Lead the team and transmit the Heartist spirit.
- Guarantee quality of Accommodation & Catering offers.
- Ensure implementation and proper monitoring of procedures.
- To represent ACCOR in all issues relating to the hotel.
**Qualifications**
- Previous and solid experience in the Hospitality industry is required.
- Strong customer orientation, commitment, emotional intelligence as well as being a point of reference and credibility for all the hotel staff and stakeholders.
- Solid managerial skills to unite the team around a common project, in the search for the achievement of quality and economic objectives.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other languages will be a plus.
