Responsibilities
* Translate the production plan into mid- to long-term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring material availability based on forecasts.
* Ensure correct ordering of materials in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size and minimizing obsolescence.
* Maintain MRP parameters, aggregate cross-category requirements, and address MRP exceptions according to the production schedule.
* Collaborate with suppliers and conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning to support production at effective costs.
* Support inventory analysis by reviewing policies, managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes.
* Maintain manufacturing parameters and identify sourcing risks or opportunities, escalating issues as needed.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning performance.
Qualifications
* Background in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
* 4-5 years experience in material management.
* Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Team-oriented with a proactive attitude towards process and project improvement.
