This role combines engineering fundamentals with data-driven decision-making to contribute to logistics optimization, inventory management, production planning, and distribution processes. /pp The position will work closely with cross-functional teams supporting key initiatives under the guidance of senior team members. /p pb KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /b /pulli Analyze supply chain performance using data-driven methods to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. /lili Support the development and maintenance of cost models for components and products, contributing to decisions related to design, process optimization, make-or-buy, and manufacturing localization. /lili Contribute to Value Analysis (VA) and Value Engineering (VE) activities by identifying cost-saving opportunities in both existing and new product designs. /lili Evaluate production costs across different manufacturing sites and suppliers, supporting scenario analysis (volume changes, currency fluctuations, supplier changes). /lili Participate in process improvement initiatives across transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. /lili Develop models and simulations to optimize production planning, inventory levels, and demand forecasting. /lili Prepare detailed cost estimates for special/custom parts based on BoMs, CAD models, engineering drawings, and physical components, including cycle time, labor, materials, and overhead calculations. /lili Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. /lili Support digital transformation initiatives (ERP enhancements, process automation, data analytics tools). /lili Participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives. /lili Maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance and support decision-making reporting. /li /ul pb REQUIREMENTS /b /pulli Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field. /lili2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Controlling, Operations, Manufacturing, or related environments. Automotive industry is a plus. /lili Familiar with MS Office, Dynamics 365 is a plus. /lili Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. /lili Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. /lili Fluent in English for daily work with Europe or Asia.
