Overview
We are Applus+ Laboratories, a division of the Applus+ Group that provides testing and certification services to improve the competitiveness of our client products and encourage innovation.
Currently we are recruiting for a Strategic Operations & Project Management professional to provide direct support to our Executive Vice President in strategic, financial and operational matters.
This role combines executive assistance with financial analysis, follow-up of key strategic projects and communication with key stakeholders. The role requires exceptional organization and communication skills, strategic thinking, autonomy and the ability to operate at the highest levels of the organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
Executive Support & communication
- Manage EVP's priorities and strategic initiatives
- Act as primary liaison between EVP and internal/external stakeholders
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for executive meetings
- Attend executive committee sessions and prepare minutes and follow-up actions
- Coordinate and follow up on strategic projects and decisions
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion
Strategic analysis and project follow-up
- Monitor and analyze key financial and non-financial metrics and KPIs
- Prepare EVP dashboard with inputs from the different areas
- Support the EVP in key projects where he participates (ex., budgeting process, M&A; opportunities, etc.), liaising with the corresponding areas
- Conduct strategic analysis to support decisions, with the support of other departments (finance, products, sales, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar. An MBA from a business school will be highly valuable
- 3-5 years of experience in consulting, auditing or similar analytical roles
- Previous experience in senior management support roles will be considered a plus
- Advanced level of both English and Spanish
