Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in

business, computer science, systems analysis, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of experience

in IT solution development or solution architecture, ideally with exposure to supply chain projects

Proven experience in

designing and implementing integrations

between applications (ERP, eCommerce, OMS, WMS)

Hands‑on experience with

APIs

for system integrations (REST/SOAP)

Experience using

Azure Integration Services

and building/running queries in databases, primarily

Oracle and Snowflake

Understanding of agile methods and experience supporting

agile project teams

by advising on opportunities, impact, and technical risks

Ability to effectively

communicate in English

at all organizational levels

Experience working in

global environments

and collaborating with virtual teams

Exposure to multiple technologies and environments: cloud and on‑premises solutions, synchronous/asynchronous architectures, microservices, event‑driven architectures

Ability to

propose technical solutions

to business problems and assess their financial impact

Good understanding of strategic, emerging technologies and how to apply them in evolving business and supply chain contexts

What will you do?

Define and document the

overall solution architecture

for supply chain systems

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements

Evaluate and select

appropriate technologies and integration platforms

for ERP, OMS, WMS, and eCommerce solutions

Design and lead the

integration of applications

across the supply chain ecosystem

Develop and maintain the architecture for a broader scope of supply chain products and platforms

Deliver architectural designs for products or product groups, providing inputs to the roadmap

Define

guidelines, standards, and solution patterns

to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture vision

Lead the

implementation and integration of technical architecture

across multiple supply chain platforms

Identify organizational and financial impacts of proposed solutions

Monitor existing solution portfolio to identify gaps and improve architectural compliance

Work closely with Tech Leads, BAs, Product Managers, and Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide architecture

Working hours:

Flexible (US/UK overlap), Occasional Saturdays or Sundays for deployments

Main Responsibilities

Design end‑to‑end solution architectures involving complex data landscapes, legacy systems, and regulatory constraints.

Define and ensure alignment of solutions across cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments.

Operate within formal architecture governance and assurance frameworks, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Provide technical leadership across all phases of IT delivery: requirements, design, build/configuration, testing, implementation, and transition to BAU.

Collaborate with multiple teams, vendors, and stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver scalable and compliant solutions.

Participate in architecture boards and governance forums, contributing to strategic decision‑making.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Solution Architect (+4 years of experience).

Experience designing solutions involving complex data, legacy platforms, and regulatory constraints.

Strong understanding of cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid architectures.

Experience operating within formal architecture governance and assurance frameworks.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English.

Advanced English.

Architectural governance: Provide solution design support in the below focused domains of architecture and popular technologies.

Accountable for the direction, performance and ongoing health of the current solution architectures within one or more sites.

Lead the effort to ensure that common architecture decisions support both business and IS strategy, and that the architectures delivered are cost‑effective and compliant with relevant architecture standards, blueprints, and roadmaps.

Participate in Architecture Assessments & Reviews either as Lead Reviewing Architect or as a Subject Matter Expert in the review team.

Contribute to and lead the development of Solution Blueprints ensuring adherence to the company’s technology standards.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience

Relevant technical degree or equivalent.

Experience demonstrating proficiency in at least one technical domain.

Experience implementing and maintaining business solution architectures under any formal framework for your domain of architecture.

Proven consultancy experience designing end‑to‑end solutions that operate across all domains of IT.

Experience developing and leading innovative solutions.

Proven experience of leading change and challenging approaches/ideas.

Proven ability to influence across business and IT.

Experience developing and managing relationships with third party suppliers.

Experience with policies, procedures and guidelines within a quality, compliant, and secure environment.

Experience with large‑scale solution justification phase: product evaluation, business case formulation.

Skills and Capabilities

Strong networking skills with good internal/external links.

Well‑developed communication and facilitation skills.

Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language at all levels of leadership.

Awareness of developments in the marketplace for domain focus and potential impact to IS.

Proven business acumen.
