About the role
As a Director of Sales and marketing you are responsible for establishing and directing the marketing and sales activities of Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.Working with the General Manager and Executive team to achieve the optimal profit at the hotel and to be a strong leader able to represent the hotel at ownership meetings.We’re searching for a motivated team player with outstanding business skills to be the next director of sales and marketing at our hotel. You’ll be in charge of developing a revenue management strategy to maximize profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. This dynamic leader is the voice of our brand and manages the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targetsOptimize all elements of the Commercial department of Sales & Marketing within the hotel by creating, implementing, leading, driving and measuring the strategic Sales & Marketing objectives to ensure optimal revenue performance, brand positioning, and market penetration. To work with the senior team ensuring it’s repositioned and to maximize profitability and enhance guest satisfaction.
Essential functions
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth. Assign sales territory, target, groups and sales quotes
Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets
Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relations with patrons
Prepare accurate and complete sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing plans
Manage human resource functions e.g. hiring, training, performance reviews· Research competitors’ products/services
Develop goals and objectives, projects and priorities and assign them to Sales & Marketing Managers
Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans

What you need to have
College Education
3 years previous experience in a similar role
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Spanish languagesExperience in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment is essential
Good organizational and administration skills
Positive attitude and good communication skills/communicate effectively with the operational departments to ensure a seamless experience for the customers
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Knowledge of the hotel property management system – Opera
Receive and convert incoming inquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
Focus on up-selling services
High level of creativity
Attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment
