Job Responsibilities
* Review of customer requirements, with special emphasis on those related to HW.
* Technical contact with the customer supervised by the Development Manager assigned to the project.
* Preparation of HW functional block diagrams: HW architecture.
* Performing calculations and simulations, tolerance studies and analysis, etc.
* Coordination with the purchasing department for component selection.
* Attendance to conferences and meetings with suppliers.
* Detailed design of the electronic schematic, including e-Layout guidelines.
* Collaboration with PCB design team and review of e-Layout designs.
* Assembly, test and analysis of prototypes.
* Collaboration with other departments involved in the project.
* Support to the functional, electrical, EMC and environmental validation team.
* Analysis of warranties or claims of parts in the field.
* Troubleshooting of electronic design problems.
Your Skills & Strengths
* Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
* At least two years of experience in electronics, hardware and PCB design.
* Experience in the automotive sector will be valued.
* Previous experience with Altium Designer.
* Previous experience with LT Spice.
* Previous experience or knowledge with MathCad.
* Previous experience or knowledge with Mathlab Simulink.
