We are looking for a visionary Product, Merchandising & Buying Director to shape the future of our collections, strengthen our global product identity, and build a high‐performing, data‐driven organization. This is a transformational leadership role combining creativity, strategy, and commercial excellence to scale HOFF into a globally admired design‐led footwear brand.
Mission
Build a structured, scalable, and high‐performing product and buying organization that drives international growth, maximizes profitability, and strengthens HOFF's brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Collection Strategy & Planning
Define HOFF's global collection architecture, ensuring the right balance between creativity, commerciality, and brand positioning.
Lead assortment strategy across categories, pricing, regional needs, and seasonal calendars.
Drive product lifecycle management, ensuring a strong balance between innovation and carry‐over.
Buying & Inventory Management
Lead global buying strategy across Retail, E‐commerce, and Wholesale channels.
Oversee Open‐to‐Buy (OTB), inventory planning, stock efficiency, and replenishment strategies.
Optimise sell‐through, stock rotation, and margin performance while minimising markdown exposure.
Commercial Performance
Own product performance, revenue, gross margin, and forecast accuracy.
Monitor sell‐in/sell‐out performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
Define pricing architecture aligned with brand and profitability goals.
Cross‐Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Founder, CEO, Design, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
Ensure product, inventory, and commercial decisions support international growth.
Team & Organisational Development
Lead and structure the Product Merchandising & Buying function.
Define team KPIs, processes, and ways of working to build a high‐performing, commercially driven organisation.
Create a performance‐driven and commercially disciplined culture.
This is the type of profile we are looking for
10+ years of leadership experience in Product Merchandising and Buying within footwear or lifestyle brands.
Strong expertise in collection architecture and inventory strategy.
Experience managing multi‐channel and international businesses.
Strong financial acumen (OTB, margin management, forecasting).
Strategic thinker with hands‐on execution capability.
Proven experience on successfully leading multicultural teams.
Strong stakeholder management at executive level.
Fluent in English; Spanish.
