Overview Join one of HP's most successful new enterprises, PWP- the HP PageWide Web Press business. PWP designs, develops, installs, and supports HP digital web presses all over the world. These presses utilize the latest in HP proprietary inkjet technology. It is an exciting, fast-paced, and growing business.
Responsibilities Design engineering solutions for mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware based on established engineering principles in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.
Provide Tier 4 Engineering support, investigate hardware related field and factory issues and determine root cause(s).
Use continuous improvement methodology to continuously improve performance, reliability and quality while reducing cost.
Serve as HP technical interface for strategic suppliers.
Work on cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams with other engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for highly-complex products.
Collaborate and communicate with management, internal and outsourced development partners, and other key stakeholders regarding design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
Education & Experience Recommended Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Typically has 3 to 5 years of engineering experience
Knowledge & Skills Ability to work across multiple technical disciplines

Ability to adapt and respond quickly and appropriately to changing business needs

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
