**About the Role**
We are seeking a Junior Business Developer to support our expansion into the UK and European markets, specifically targeting the financial services industry. This role is perfect for someone with understanding of financial sectors, including insurance companies and banks, eager to grow their skills in selling professional software development and integration services on a T&M; (Time and Materials) engagement model. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a friendly, result-oriented personality and a willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and partners.
**Responsibilities**
- Market Research: Conduct insightful research to understand the needs and dynamics of financial institutions in the UK and Europe.
- Lead Generation: Assist in generating leads and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proposal Development: Assist in preparing compelling commercial proposals that align with client needs and company offerings.
- Strategic Development: Assist in designing and execution of comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the financial services sector in the UK and Europe.
- Sales Support: Contribute to creating compelling proposals and supporting the sales process.
- Client Engagement: Travel to attend conferences, meet clients, and nurture relationships.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with various teams and communicate effectively.
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years experience or educational background in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of the financial services industry.
- Strong negotiation and sales support skills.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent command of English (C1 or C2 level).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Hands-on, initiative-taking, and innovative approach to business development.
- Easy-going, adaptable personality who enjoys frequent travel.
**Preferred Skills**
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more European languages besides English.
