The Bid Technical Leader is accountable for several key tasks:- Promoting SAFT solutions and explaining them during the tender phase to customers- Selecting and validating the ESS technical solution- Coordinating efforts to prepare the technical offer and quote technical packages- Preparing return of experience (lessons learnt) and working with the central team for continuous improvement of the technical solution and documentationYour MissionsKey responsibilities include piloting studies for functional design of BESS and physical product, finding the best compromise for the project.
You will negotiate or promote product interfaces, its requirements, and associated validation with the customer to find the best compromise with regard SAFT solutions.
Other responsibilities include reviewing supplier quotations and options as well as SAFT battery configuration, ensuring application of design rules, best practices, and process, managing and coordinating engineering effort to build proposal (Clause-to-Clause, sizing, deliverables), planning and coordinating activities and resources depending on maturity of tenders, resources, and need of anticipation.Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience in engineering product delivery- At least 8-year experience in technical development and project lead- Engineering degree or equivalent- Multidisciplinary technical knowledge (System, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronical, Software...)- Good knowledge of the key product (batteries, PCS, PMS) required- English, Office (including MS project)BenefitsThis position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
