Bureau Technical Services (BTS) is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join a major data centre project in Zaragoza.This position will support the planning, scheduling, coordination and execution of full lifecycle commissioning activities across critical data centre facilities.

It will also involve participation in the MEP design process, witnessing static and dynamic testing of complex mechanical and control systems, and supporting systems through normal operation, maintenance and failure mode testing.Key responsibilities:Support the full commissioning lifecycle across mission critical facilitiesParticipate in the MEP design and commissioning processWitness and support static and dynamic testing of complex mechanical and control systemsAssist with operating systems in normal, maintenance and failure modesCarry out commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of heavy mechanical systems and subsystemsRequirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experienceExperience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical control systemsStrong HVAC and cooling systems experienceKnowledge of large-scale data centre mechanical infrastructureHands-on experience with chillers, xugodme cooling towers and associated subsystemsExperience with AHUs, fan coil units, process water systems and humidificationKnowledge of BMS, PLC, SCADA or other control and instrumentation systemsAbility to interpret raw signal data such as temperature and humidity dataExperience within mission critical facilities3+ years of commissioning experience3+ years of data centre experienceRight to work in the location required
