AGILE DELIVERY CENTER SPAIN
The Agile Delivery Center Spain @ Capgemini is still growing thanks to new and innovative international projects from our important customers who place their trust in us every day. We are an Agile Delivery center based in Valencia and Murcia. We work with large international clients on innovative application development projects, following a distributed agile model across Europe.
We are looking for Software Engineers with at least 5 years of experience in software development projects, with fluent French, passionate about technology and interested in being involved in a high-tech talent ecosystem, multicultural environment, and an active, dynamic, and open-minded culture.
YOUR ROLE
As Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing Java-based applications. You will work in a multidisciplinary and international environment with cutting-edge technologies, within Agile frameworks. You will collaborate in defining and refining software architecture and design patterns, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
YOUR TASKS
* Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensure best practices in coding and design, participate in technical impact studies and budgeting.
* Developing and maintaining Software: Create and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, TypeScript, and related technologies. Supervise all development lifecycle stages.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
* Code Reviews: Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security, and disseminate best practices.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, propose improvements, and enhance development practices.
YOUR PROFILE
Candidates should have more than four years of relevant experience, deep understanding of programming concepts, and the ability to work autonomously. Leadership in technical design, proactive client needs assessment, and cost management are valued. Effective communication, motivation skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences are essential.
* Proficiency in Java: Extensive experience with Java 8-17, Spring frameworks.
* Software Development Lifecycle: Strong understanding of methodologies like Scrum.
* Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Testing and Debugging: Proficiency with tools like JUnit and Mockito.
* Version Control: Experience with Git, GitLab, GitHub.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills, fluent in French.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills.
