The Role
We’re looking for a Labs Industrial Engineer to work in a daily basis with the manufacturer ophthalmic lenses laboratories across the world.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Engineer service support in the integration of new software, products and technologies into existing lab equipment platforms of third-party labs to successfully manufacture lenses made with any of the IOT technologies.
* Setting up and configuring new optical lens designs for customers
* Troubleshooting and resolution of software and production process deviations and issues.
* Quality control of ophthalmic lens production in optical labs:
* Surfacing department QC
* Coating department QC
* Process Improvement service to optical laboratories
* Collaborate from a technical perspective in the management of IOT customers (ophthalmic labs) with the sales and marketing teams of the company that work with the same accounts.
* Interdepartmental collaboration for multiple projects and tasks:
* Collaboration with the commercial team developing new strategies.
* Communication and collaboration with development teams to resolve software incidences.
* Consulting, customer service (not sales) and training customers
* Be responsible for maintaining a relationship with the customers and supporting all their needs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Optical Engineering or related field.
* 5 years of previous process engineering experience in manufacturing laboratories of ophthalmic lenses.
* Advance Computer skills
* Customer needs focused
* Able to set priorities, quickly adopt to change and learn continuously
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, both independently and with a team.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across disciplines and with multiple levels of management.
* Strong communication and technical skills.
* Self-motivated, well organized, and able to work independently.
