You will play a key role in supporting business growth and ensuring financial transparency across the organization.Why is the job exciting? As a Financial Manager, you will:
- Act as a strategic partner to management by delivering professional financial advice and insights into the company’s financial health.- Take ownership of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of actuals data from the ERP system to Navilens’ leadership.- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, acting as Project Manager for annual budgeting.- Ensure effective financial controls, reporting standards, and accounting policies are applied consistently across all operations.- Supervise and grow the controlling team, while also collaborating with accounting and operational departments.- Assess and adapt the size and structure of the finance team to match the company’s growth and future challenges.- Lead and improve financial processes and systems, including ERP alignment, reporting automation, and data consistency across Spain and the USA.- Support strategic decision-making by providing scenario modeling, cash flow forecasting, and financial risk assessments.- Act as the key point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.- Report directly to the CEO and interact regularly with the shareholders.Key Challenges and Goals:
- Develop and maintain a streamlined and integrated financial reporting process across international entities (Spain and USA).- Ensure the ERP system supports accurate, timely, and compliant financial data for business decision-making.- Provide strong business support through financial insight, proactive analysis, and reliable metrics to project managers and senior leaders.- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, digital transformation, and best practices in financial management.We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 7 years of experience in financial management roles, including 3+ years in a multinational environment.- A deep understanding of financial controlling, accounting principles (IFRS), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.- Experience with financial systems and tools (e.G., Power BI, Hyperion, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics NAV).- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing change in fast-paced environments.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.- A collaborative, proactive, and improvement-driven mindset.- A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.- Fluency in Spanish and English (required);
