Algomarketing is a data-driven marketing agency helping B2B businesses optimize their digital strategy through analytics, automation, and audience insights. We are seeking a GA4 & GTM Analytics Consultant to refine our event tracking, audience segmentation, and attribution modeling to improve campaign performance.
What You’ll Do
1. Data Validation & Debugging (Quality Assurance)
* Conduct monthly testing audits to ensure events and conversions fire correctly.
* Identify and fix duplicate, missing, or misfired events in GA4 & GTM.
* Perform data layer inspections for accurate event data transmission to GA4.
1. Event & Conversion Optimization
* Implement and refine GA4 event tracking aligned with business goals (e.g., MOLs, SRLs, SQLs, demo requests, gated content downloads).
* Use Google Tag Manager to set up event triggers, variables, and tags for precise data collection.
* Enhance lead scoring by tracking user engagement metrics such as scroll depth, button clicks, form submissions, and high-intent actions.
* Implement server-side tagging to improve data accuracy and reduce tracking limitations.
1. B2B Audience Segmentation & Reporting
* Define and build high-value audience segments using GA4’s audience builder and explorations.
* Develop custom GA4 reports (funnel analysis, path exploration, cohort analysis) to monitor conversion journeys and drop-off points.
* Connect GA4 with Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) for real-time reporting dashboards.
1. Multi-Channel Attribution & GA4 Integrations
* Optimize Google Ads & LinkedIn Ads by importing GA4 conversions for targeted campaigns.
* Implement UTM tracking best practices for accurate campaign attribution.
* Explore cross-channel attribution models (e.g., data-driven, linear, time decay) to analyze the customer journey comprehensively.
* Assist with GA4 & CRM integrations (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to connect marketing data with sales outcomes.
What You Bring
* 3–5+ years experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager in marketing analytics roles.
* Expertise in GA4 event tracking, custom event setup, enhanced measurement, and debugging.
* Strong skills in Google Tag Manager – data layer setup, variables, triggers, and tags.
* Experience with first-party data strategies, including server-side tracking, consent mode, and GDPR compliance.
* Consultative approach with the ability to advise marketing teams on tracking best practices.
* Strong analytical mindset, clear communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills :
* Experience with BigQuery and SQL for advanced GA4 data analysis.
* Experience integrating GA4 with Looker Studio, HubSpot, Salesforce, or other BI tools.
