Job Title: App Growth Specialist
Overview
We’re an online marketing company with several casino brands targeting regulated markets such as the UK, Spain, and Canada. We’re looking for an experienced App Marketing Specialist to join our team and lead the optimization and growth of our mobile app activity. This role is both strategic and hands-on and will play a critical part in improving tracking, performance, and user experience for our apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the marketing teams (PPC, Social, Media) in setting up and troubleshooting app tracking across Google, Facebook, and other acquisition channels.
- Lead App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts to improve visibility and drive organic installs
- Monitor and improve app ratings and reviews across Android and iOS stores, together with the brand reputation team
- Manage iOS tracking challenges and help marketing teams make the most of campaigns despite iOS limitations.
- Identify and promote underutilized Appsflyer features to improve campaign performance and measurement.
- Perform competitive benchmarking and identify opportunities to enhance our app user experience, conversion, and retention.
- Coordinate with the internal QA team on app testing and bug resolution.
- Liaise with our platform provider responsible for app maintenance to prioritize and follow up on app-related issues and improvements.
- Work with CRM teams to improve the retention from app users
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in app marketing (user acquisition, ASO, app tracking).
- Deep hands-on experience with Appsflyer: configuration, event mapping, partner setup, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Firebase and how it integrates with app marketing and analytics workflows.
- Experience navigating iOS tracking limitations (SKAdNetwork, privacy thresholds) and implementing solutions for performance visibility.
- Advanced understanding of performance campaigns using MMPs across Google App Campaigns, Facebook, DSPs and other traffic sources.
- Proven track record in ASO: optimizing listings, keyword research, A/B testing, creative iteration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Technical aptitude or background (e.g., ability to QA SDK events, troubleshoot tracking discrepancies) is a strong advantage.
- Proactive, collaborative, self-sufficient and able to work cross-functionally across marketing, product, and development teams.
