As an Account Executive, you are expected to demonstrate curiosity and eagerness for learning, a customer-first mindset, problem-solving skills working backwards from goals, and the ability to invent and simplify processes. The role requires a sense of ownership, initiative, and a track record of executing in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources.AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Support team interacts with leading companies and believes world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS.Key job responsibilities
Ensure customer satisfaction.Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory.Help develop a comprehensive account/territory plan to manage and grow accounts.Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.Accelerate customer adoption.Maintain a robust sales pipeline.Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.A day in the life
Establish AWS as the key cloud technology provider across your managed companies, promoting the AWS product and service portfolio to startup customers. Leverage latest trends like AI, ML, serverless, and IoT to help customers innovate and disrupt, similar to Airbnb, Slack, DoorDash, and Lyft.About the team
The startup organization at AWS includes experts from across the ecosystem, such as founders, CTOs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and mentors. Our Startup Marketing team drives initiatives to upskill founders and navigate challenges. The Startup Central Sales team focuses on acquiring new customers and accelerating AWS adoption among existing ones, acting as trusted advisors in various industries.About AWS:

Technology-related sales or business development experience.Ability to develop and execute a territory plan to meet or exceed revenue targets.Passion for helping startups grow.Technical or educational background in engineering or computer science.Experience selling cloud solutions.History working with or selling to tech startups.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity.
