As part of this growth we now seek a Customer Obsessed, Results Driven Program Manager to join our expanding FinOps Program Management Office (PMO) in the North America region.
In supporting growth and evolution, Amazon Finance Operations (FinOps) aims to deliver seamless procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and payroll processes that enable geographic and market expansion across all Amazon’s businesses, while ensuring regulatory and legal compliance.
Key responsibilities
* Delivering complex, large scale programs and projects from initiation through delivery by leading cross-functional, geographically diverse project teams.
* Understanding business requirements and ensuring they can be implemented from a people, process, policy and technology perspective by working with Amazon’s technical teams to design, develop, test and launch scalable solutions that address customer needs while meeting high controllership standards.
* Ensuring consistent and efficient execution of projects, adhering to Amazon’s governance and project methodology frameworks, to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. This includes effective communication of project progression to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
* Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles by collaborating with business partners, key PMO Excellence stakeholders and team members; ensuring Plan B’s are always in place.
* Continuously strengthening FinOps effectiveness with a focus on identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities.
Compensation and benefits
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2.500+ gross per month and salary depends on skills and requirements. There will be further pay components such as a sign-on bonus and eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Inc. in the USA. Company benefits apply subject to terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card, and career development.

We require someone who can apply structured and analytical thinking to solve problems, while motivating project teams through superior influencing and interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts, drive cross-functional decision making and deliver results.
About the team
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale, complex business program implementations in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, ideally involving systems development and integration. They will also have the ability to learn quickly, distill complex scenarios into easily understandable summaries and communicate persuasively in written and oral form.

Basic Qualifications
* Previous program or project management experience.
* Experience in finance-related projects or teams (accounts receivable background preferred).
* Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
* Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
* Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) at an advanced level.
* Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
* 3+ years of driving process improvements.
* Experience in stakeholder management with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
* Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
* Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) at an advanced level and SQL.
