Market development specialist – german-speaking markets

Overview

All of us at EFI™ are relentlessly focused on the growth and success of the print business.

We are looking for a Market Development Specialist to join the Inside Sales team to extend our customer reach across EMEA markets and ,mainly German markets, in multiple segments and in multiple disciplines. The position will be based remotely and will report to the Director, Field & Channel Marketing.

This individual plays a critical role in EFI’s sales process by developing, qualifying, and nurturing leads, while providing administrative and sales cycle support to sales representatives. This hybrid position combines the prospecting and pipeline management focus of a Marketing Representative with the relationship-building and solution validation skills of an Inside Sales Representative.

Responsibilities
* Develop and qualify leads through outbound/inbound outreach and research.
* Conduct consultative calls to assess needs and document everything in Salesforce.
* Hit targets for calls, qualified leads, and opportunities.
* Support sales reps with solution validation, demos, ROI messaging, and early-stage materials.
* Assist with forecasting, reporting, and maintaining CRM accuracy.
* Provide admin support during negotiations and closing (CRM updates, documentation, follow-up).
* Maintain relationships with prospects, ensure smooth handoffs, and support overall sales team efficiency.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree preferred (HS diploma accepted with experience).
* 2+ years in sales development, inside sales, or customer-facing roles.
* Proven track record hitting call/lead/opportunity targets.
* Strong communication in German & English (third language a plus).
* Proficiency with Salesforce/CRM tools, MS Office, and online demo tools.
* Customer‑oriented, persistent, positive attitude.
* Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Consultative selling mindset with strong research/prospecting skills.
* Detail‑oriented with high commitment to CRM accuracy.
* Ability to build relationships across multiple industries.
* Self‑starter with high energy and team mindset.
* Comfortable balancing sales activity with admin tasks.
* Valid residence/work permit required (no sponsorship).
