The Fundació Privada per a la Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is an entity established in 2002 to support research activities in the biomedical and social spheres at the Maternal and Infantile Hospital of Esplugues, the Parc Sanitari de Sant Boi de Llobregat, and other centers of the Hospital Order San Juan de Diós - Province of Aragon San Rafael.

Position Overview
The Patient Engagement in Research Area at the Sant Joan de Déu Foundation seeks a professional to manage communication tasks for the Share4Rare platform and other science communication projects.
Share4Rare is an online platform connecting a patient community with research projects on rare diseases, based on medical and quality-of-life data donations by patients and caregivers. It facilitates collaborative research at national and international levels.
The communication activities include social media management, content creation for blogs and news, outreach material design, research reporting, and editing the podcast "La Ciencia de lo Singular," among others.
We seek a dynamic individual to join our interdisciplinary team, which is involved in numerous projects. We offer ongoing training opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. Create content for outreach materials in various formats: blogs, videos, podcasts, brochures, posters, newsletters, presentations, social media, etc.
2. Review and edit educational content related to our research.
3. Manage and update the website and social media platforms.
4. Design visual materials for presentations and social media graphics.
5. Analyze website and social media metrics.
6. Coordinate communication efforts with internal teams and external partners.
7. Assist in organizing events, talks, and conferences.
8. Conduct interviews and prepare related content.
