Key Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer in Test will be a key contributor on a team of 7+ engineers, applying extensive knowledge of software test fundamentals, quality, and software design. Your general responsibilities include:
* Defining test strategy and reviewing requirements
* Developing test plans and test cases from requirements and design
* Owning the delivery of a test plan for a release
* Working within our DevOps toolset and extending automation testing aspects as needed
* Writing automation tests, frameworks, and supporting infrastructure to streamline and drive high test coverage
Your ultimate goal is to ensure our software stack is as automated as possible and releases are of the highest quality.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A BS degree or equivalent in a directly related discipline (CS, Eng, etc.)
* 3+ years experience as a quality or test engineer
* 3+ years of experience working in agile fashion in projects with multiple squads
* Proven track-record testing large scale, enterprise (SaaS) applications with complex data models and workflows
* An obsession for quality and automation
* Conversational proficiency in English
* Source control management experience with GIT
* Hands-on experience with multiple test tools - Selenium, Postman, etc.
Nice to have:
* BDD experience leveraging cucumber, gherkin or similar
* Experience with performance test tools like jmeter or similar
* Experience in integrating test automation in CI/CD environments (Github actions, jenkins, etc.)
* Familiarity with data standards and workflows (HL7, IHE)
