Purpose of Role
The ISP Teacher role is to drive improvements in student learning and professional practice, creating a positive and effective environment that supports academic and personal growth. This role is key to enhancing student outcomes, fostering professional development, and contributing to the overall improvement of the school.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide a safe, open, caring, collaborative, and inclusive learning atmosphere.

* Model the school's values and contribute to its mission and vision through daily actions.
* Plan and support student learning, recognising the difference between learning and its influencing factors.
* Design and facilitate learning outcomes, content, and experiences that meet personalised student needs.
* Empower students to lead their own learning, monitor progress, and adjust based on feedback.
* Gather, document, and analyse evidence of learning to set targets and action steps.
* Lead learning improvement initiatives, setting professional goals and contributing to departmental planning.
* Create and maintain safe, collaborative, and inclusive learning spaces, both physical and digital.
* Partner with parents and carers, communicating regularly and incorporating their feedback.
* Support individual student and parental needs, fostering an inclusive learning community.
Skills, Qualifications And Experience Required
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE.
* Degree or equivalent in relevant subjects.
* Good up‑to‑date subject knowledge and practical skills.
* Successful secondary teaching experience.
* Ability to motivate children of differing abilities.
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum and exam specifications.
* Knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies.
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
* Enthusiasm and passion for learning.
* A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all staff, pupils, and parents, promoting the school's ethos and values.
* An approachable manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding principles as defined by ISP.
* Undergo appropriate vetting procedures and satisfactory criminal background checks covering the previous ten years.
