We are seeking a bSenior Technical Asset Manager Renewables (Wind Solar) /b /ppbr/ppbRole Overview: /bWe are seeking a skilled and motivated bSenior Technical Asset Manager /bto join our client’s dynamic team in bMadrid. /b /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/ppbTechnical Asset Management Oversight /b /pulliTake ownership of technical asset management for assigned wind portfolios, while providing technical support for solar PV assets. /liliManage and coordinate daily interactions with Asset Management and OM service providers, ensuring adherence to all contractual terms. /liliOversee third‑party contractors and advisors, including insurers, market operators, and other external service providers. /liliBuild and maintain thorough knowledge of SPV‑level agreements, such as OM contracts, asset management agreements, grid connections, land leases, and commercial arrangements. /liliEnsure full compliance with technical, commercial, legal, and regulatory standards across all assets. /liliReview, challenge, and assess service provider procedures and processes to verify compliance with contractual obligations, internal standards, and applicable legislation. /liliAnalyze monthly OM and performance reports, identify performance gaps or contract deviations, and drive remediation actions. /liliPerform site visits and technical audits to evaluate asset condition, operational availability, and long‑term reliability. /liliSupervise and ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements related to operational systems and data. /liliEnforce strict adherence to HSE standards and support efficient management of incidents and insurance claims. /li /ulpbr/ppbPerformance Monitoring, Analytics Optimization /b /pulliDefine, track, and report technical and financial KPIs for wind and solar assets. /liliConduct detailed performance analysis, including internal benchmarking and comparison with industry standards. /liliProduce recurring asset and portfolio performance reports, clearly identifying risks, deviations, and value‑creation opportunities. /liliIdentify, propose, and implement technical, operational, and contractual improvement initiatives. /liliSupport assessments related to life‑extension, repowering, and optimization strategies, with a strong focus on wind assets. /li /ulpbr/ppbOperating Cost Management (OPEX) /b /pulliDrive OPEX tracking and cost‑control initiatives across the portfolio. /liliIdentify efficiency improvements and cost‑reduction opportunities without compromising asset availability or performance. /liliMonitor revenue streams and work closely with internal teams to explain performance variances and financial risks. /li /ulpbr/ppbStakeholder Engagement Strategic Support /b /pulliAct as the primary technical point of contact for key stakeholders, including OM contractors, market agents, landowners, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. /liliMaintain frequent collaboration with UK‑based partners and clients, particularly in relation to offshore wind assets. /liliProvide technical support to MA activities, including due diligence reviews, asset assessments, and post‑acquisition integration. /liliContribute to the enhancement of internal asset‑management tools, processes, and reporting standards. /li /ulpbr/ppbRequired Competencies Skills /b /pulliStrong and proven expertise in wind energy systems; offshore wind experience is preferred, with onshore wind expertise also acceptable. /liliSolid technical understanding of solar PV technology, particularly regulated assets (experience under RD 413/2014 is required). /liliGood working knowledge of contractual and legal frameworks related to Asset Management and OM. /liliFluent written and spoken English (minimum C1/C2 level), with regular direct interaction with UK‑based stakeholders. /liliStrong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. /liliHighly autonomous and proactive, able to manage multiple workstreams across different functions. /liliFast learner with the ability to grasp complex topics such as energy regulation, taxation, financial structures, and business models. /liliCollaborative team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. /liliStrong analytical mindset, comfortable handling and interpreting large datasets. /liliAdvanced Excel capability (including pivot tables, lookups, conditional formatting, and dashboard development). /liliStrong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate technical analysis into clear, executive‑level presentations. /liliHands‑on experience using project‑management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Planner) in OM or asset‑management environments. /liliPractical experience working with SCADA data, including trends, alarms, and performance curves, focused on operational efficiency, availability, and forecasting (excluding system administration). /li /ulpbr/ppbEducation Professional Experience /b /pulliBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. /lili+5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in project execution, asset management, or OM roles. /liliProven hands‑on experience with wind assets (offshore wind farm exposure is a strong advantage). /liliDemonstrated experience managing regulated solar PV assets. /liliFamiliarity with additional renewable energy technologies is considered an asset. /li /ul
