About the role
We seek a highly skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our fast-paced, performance marketing & e-commerce driven team. You will build advanced dashboards and data models that enable smarter decision-making across multiple brands. Your responsibilities include developing complex DAX logic, optimizing performance, and creating scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions—adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
What You'll Do :
* Develop advanced DAX calculations with time intelligence, statistical functions, virtual tables, measure branching, and performance optimization.
* Design scalable star schema data models with relationships, hierarchies, and metadata supporting enterprise reporting.
* Create interactive dashboards with dynamic measures, custom visuals, and intuitive navigation.
* Implement advanced Power BI features like calculation groups, dynamic measures, and field parameters.
* Use DAX Studio to troubleshoot and optimize query performance.
* Engineer user-friendly visuals, measure selectors, and modular dashboards for better UI/UX.
* Use bookmarks, drillthroughs, and interactive elements to craft compelling data stories.
* Integrate data sources and write optimized SQL queries for Snowflake, BigQuery, MySQL, etc.
* Manage semantic models with ALM Toolkit and XMLA endpoints for deployment and administration.
* Design enterprise BI architecture with governance and security considerations.
* Provide technical guidance, training, and establish reporting standards for the team.
Skills & Experience Required :
* Proficiency with Power BI Desktop and Service.
* Advanced DAX skills, including complex calculations and virtual relationships.
* Experience with XMLA endpoints, ALM Toolkit, and enterprise BI deployment.
* Background in e-commerce or marketing analytics is a plus.
* Expertise in calculation groups, time intelligence, and custom calendar solutions.
* Proficiency with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and performance optimization tools.
* Ability to create dynamic measures, titles, and interactive visuals.
* Knowledge of large dataset management, dataflows, and M language techniques.
* Strong SQL skills for various cloud data sources.
* Understanding of data security, RLS, and governance principles.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
* Experience with documentation and training for self-serve analytics.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
