As EHS Officer, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility while ensuring regulatory compliance. Reporting to the EHS Leader, you will develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies that protect our workforce and environment.Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures - Drive continuous improvement of safety programs and environmental initiatives - Manage relationships with external prevention services and key stakeholders - Conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments - Oversee contractor safety management and coordination - Design and deliver impactful EHS training programs - Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures - Maintain ISO 14001 certification and ensure environmental compliance - Champion our Life-Saving Rules programRequirements - Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification - Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (all three specialties) - Demonstrated knowledge of water treatment systems and processes - Strong English language skills (minimum B2 level) - Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Valid driver's license and own vehicle required - Flexibility to travel as needed
