We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team. For Spain, your mission will be to support the accounting team in the daily management of accounting, tax, and administrative operations, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations. This includes recording accounting transactions, participating in monthly and annual closings, managing local tax filings, and monitoring and controlling information related to clients and suppliers.
Your Responsabilities C&A
Record and reconcile accounting transactions.
Participate in monthly and annual accounting closings.
Verify and record invoices, as well as archive them. Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to validate delivery notes and invoices and follow up on payments to suppliers (Spain).
Manage VAT and other tax matters.
Handle the onboarding and management of new suppliers and clients in coordination with our shared services center and other relevant departments.
Monitor and control invoices via Ariba, including approval and communication with suppliers.
Manage and follow up on any issues related to client or supplier information.
Collaborate on internal and external audits, including preparing required documentation and supporting the resolution of accounting or tax issues.
Provide support in administrative tasks within the Finance Department.
Participate in improving accounting and tax processes.
What do you bring with you
Higher education in Accounting or Finance.
At least 3-4 years of professional experience in a similar role, including managing tax filings and handling supplier and client relationships.
Solid knowledge of general and tax accounting.
Native or fluent Spanish.
Intermediate to advanced English. REQUIRED.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (basic formulas).
Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, or other ERP systems is a plus.
Proactivity and a positive attitude toward learning.
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong results orientation.
What we offer
Full-time. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
