The role is critical in driving Sanofi's commitment to reducing environmental impact through innovative digital solutions for transportation logistics.## **KEY FOCUS AREAS*** **Sustainability Product Development:** Support the development and implementation of sustainability solutions for Digital Transportation, with emphasis on CO2 emissions tracking and reduction initiatives* **RFP Process Leadership:** Lead and support Request for Proposal (RFP) processes to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and solutions for CO2 emissions tracking and sustainability reporting* **Solution Implementation:** Define, design, and implement transportation sustainability solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing Transportation Management Systems and business processes* **Strategic Collaboration:** Work closely with the Product Owner on strategy and roadmap definition for sustainability initiatives within the transportation domain* **Stakeholder Management:** Ensure close relationships with business teams, sustainability experts, and Centre of Expertise with recurrent follow-ups on business needs to deliver expected value* **Vendor Management:** Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and sustainability solution providers* **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities for enhancement in sustainability tracking, reporting, and ACCOUNTABILITIES**### **Sustainability Solution Development & Implementation*** Lead the development of sustainability products for Digital Transportation, focusing on CO2 emissions tracking and environmental impact reduction* Define functional requirements for sustainability solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders and sustainability experts* Support the implementation and rollout of sustainability tracking systems across general transportation operations* Ensure integration of sustainability solutions with existing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics applications* Develop and maintain sustainability KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms* Conduct analysis of transportation data to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and efficiency improvements### **RFP Process & Supplier Selection*** Lead RFP processes for selecting suppliers and solutions for CO2 emissions tracking and sustainability initiatives* Define evaluation criteria and conduct comprehensive assessments of potential vendors and solutions* Coordinate with procurement, legal, and technical teams throughout the supplier selection process* Support business cases creation and recommendations for solution selection* Negotiate with vendors and manage contract discussions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders* Ensure selected solutions align with Sanofi's sustainability goals and technical requirements### **Project Management & Implementation*** Manage sustainability solution implementation projects from conception to deployment* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of sustainability projects* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies jointly with the Product Owner* Write functional and technical specification documents for sustainability solutions* Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria for agile development* Coordinate System Integration Tests (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and ensure systems and business readiness* Provide post-implementation hypercare support and continuous optimization* Act as Implementation Project Lead for sustainability initiatives when necessary### **Strategic Partnership & Collaboration*** Collaborate with the Product Owner on strategy and roadmap definition for transportation sustainability initiatives* Participate in benchmarking activities and keep track of industry trends in sustainable logistics* Work with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Sustainability, IT, and Business stakeholders* Act as the primary link between Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development teams within the Pod for sustainability projects* Support CAP (Continuous Application Performance) meetings to identify enhancement priorities* Share knowledge and best practices on sustainability solutions across the organization### **Application Ownership & Support*** Act as Application Owner or Application Manager for sustainability-related applications* Ensure system application integrity with each modification* Coordinate AIMS support activities for sustainability solutions* Serve as primary contact for audits related to owned applications* Monitor system performance and proactively address issues* Maintain documentation standards and ensure compliance with IT policies## **REQUIREMENTS**### **EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required* Fluent English (written and spoken) required* Spanish is a plus### **PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE**### * **3-5 years of experience** in Supply Chain Distribution / Logistics, with focus on Transportation Management* **Some experience or strong interest** in sustainability initiatives, CO2 emissions tracking, or environmental compliance in logistics* Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) - SAP TM or other TMS platforms preferred* Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and carbon accounting methodologies is a plus* Understanding of logistics processes including freight management, carrier integration, and supply chain visibility* Experience with RFP processes and vendor selection is advantageous* Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools for sustainability metrics* Project management experience in logistics or IT environments### **MAJOR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**### **Technical Skills*** Functional knowledge of Transportation
