The Global Master Data Specialist reports directly to the Global Master Data Lead and Global Accounts Payable Operations and Master Data Manager at JBT SSC. The role provides direct support to European and North American entities within the JBT group, focusing on data accuracy, time management, efficiency, and collaboration with internal customers and stakeholders. Timely delivery is essential to meet our Global Service Level Agreement and all activities must be carried out under a robust internal controls framework.
Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the global master data base for customers, suppliers, employees, and other records, emphasizing automation, data integrity, and consistency.
Administer and support the Corporate Credit Card program for employees worldwide, including credit limits and employee onboarding/offboarding.
Lead the Travel & Entertainment program (CONCUR) globally, managing configuration, enhancements, process improvements, and statutory rule maintenance.
Ensure compliance with global statutory tax regulations (1099, 1042, VAT, and others).
Participate in initiatives and projects to minimize manual processes and improve efficiencies.
Maintain dynamic training materials on a global basis.
Collaborate with external and internal auditors, customers, and stakeholders.
Engage in ad‑hoc global projects such as new entity migrations and ERP implementations.
Guarantee all transactions under scope adhere to a strong internal controls framework.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–3 years of Master Data process management experience in a multinational environment.
Experience managing multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of SOX/SOD principles and internal controls.

Proficiency with multiple ERP systems and strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal). Additional languages are desirable.
Mobility
Position based in Madrid (San Fernando de Henares) with limited travel within the European Union or the United States.
