As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for fostering close relationships with customers by actively providing business suggestions and recommendations that help them make their businesses more profitable. You will provide customers with information related to Desigual’s products, services, promotions, sales guides (VM, KPIs, Sell-outs tools), marketing actions, and other relevant information to enable effective selling across various sales channels, increasing sales and profitability for both the client's business and Desigual.

Master Data: Ensure customer master data is accurate and properly maintained by setting up new accounts, updating commercial & financial information, and cancelling existing accounts if needed.

What are we looking for?

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
* Proven experience in account management or similar roles, preferably in fashion or retail.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with data interpretation skills for decision-making.
* SAP knowledge.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian.
* Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

Main Responsibilities

* Account Management: Manage orders and returns, process and follow-up on customer orders, changes, and returns according to Desigual's policies to ensure timely delivery. Review mismatched sales returns and approve discrepancies. Prepare, modify, send, and follow-up on invoices for accurate and timely delivery.
* Collections: Ensure invoices are paid on time, follow up on overdue invoices, claim overdue amounts, and manage bad debt ratios. Obtain guarantees or prepayments before shipments as per the seasonal calendar.
* Deliveries: Ensure on-time deliveries, verify payments, issue proformas, and follow up on past dues.
* Promotions and Marketing: Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for key accounts, ensuring effective brand messaging.
* Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, collaborate with logistics to ensure product availability.
* Data Analysis: Keep customer account information accurate, match line items, and send reconciliation statements.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve disputes in commercial, financial, or logistic processes, aiming to minimize defaults and maximize overdue collections.
