Marketing Manager (Digital Content Specialist), Masters Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics
(Ref: to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Art and Design or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Applicants must have in-depth knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Rednote, WeChat, and YouTube. Proficiency in creative editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator (AI), and After Effects, along with strong knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and photo retouching, is required. They should be creative, efficient, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and manage time well. A strong sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese) are essential. Applicants must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Applicants should be outcome-driven professionals capable of planning, implementing, and executing marketing strategies for specialized Masters Programmes such as Accounting, Accounting Analytics, Business Analytics, Family Wealth Management, Finance, FinTech, Global Management, Marketing, Sustainable Accounting and Finance, and Wealth Management. Those with less experience may be considered for the position at the rank of Senior Executive Assistant.
The appointee will be responsible for designing marketing and operational materials across various formats, including but not limited to print, digital, and social media, ensuring all outputs align with established brand guidelines. Key duties include photo and video editing, post-production tasks such as creating short-form videos with engaging motion graphics, and editing raw footage into polished clips for social media. Familiarity with data visualization and UI design principles is considered an asset. The role also involves maintaining and evolving the brand's visual identity across social channels, websites, and other media channels; performing ad-hoc assignments as required; and staying informed about the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to produce engaging and effective content. The appointee will be expected to work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure cohesive messaging. Flexibility to work outside normal office hours, including weekends, and to travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
