EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We´re expanding our team at Alén Space, and are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer; with passion in what you do, talented and experienced; to lead our Mission Control Center team and help build the future of space technology.
What you will be doing?
* Definition and identification of technical and user requirements.
* Preparation of software development specifications.
* Analysis and design of on-board software and firmware.
* Participation in validation campaigns for software and complete system (TLYF or E2E).
What do we need in our team
* Hands-on experience with microcontroller design flows
* Eagerness to learn
* Familiarity with embedded Linux systems
* Fluency in English
* Knowledge of embedded software development tools : C / C++
* Experience working with GIT repositories and Linux-based operating systems
* Some experience with instrumentation equipment (, power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope)
Valuable knowledge :
* Development of custom embedded Linux systems using Buildroot / Yocto
* Some experience with Python or other scripting languages
* Experience in the design of on-board software for spacecraft or critical systems
* Knowledge of software development within the FreeRTOS environment
* Understanding of DSP algorithms
Candidate qualifications and skills
* Work remotely 80 % of the time
