Responsabilidades
The O&M; Manager is responsible for leading the operational performance, maintenance activities, and asset reliability of renewable energy sites. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while coordinating technical teams, contractors, and cross-functional departments. The position requires overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, managing budgets, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders. This role operates within a third-party service provider context, focusing on SLA compliance, contractual performance, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day operations of facilities to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Ensure consistent application of standardized O&M; processes across all client sites, balancing efficiency with specific contract requirements.
- Manage maintenance programs to optimize turbine and plant availability.
- Support high-risk operations and enforce adherence to safety controls such as LOTO and working-at-heights.
- Optimize operational resources including staffing, tooling, vehicles, and spare parts.
Technical & Performance Management
- Oversee troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance improvement actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve complex technical issues and define best practices.
- Review SCADA, CMS, and field inspection data to improve asset reliability.
- Align technical decisions and priorities with contractual availability targets and bonus/penalty mechanisms.
Financial & Budget Control
- Prepare, track, and manage annual O&M; budgets and monitor KPIs such as maintenance costs and inventory levels.
- Manage purchase orders, service contracts, and provider performance.
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities and manage cost structures (fixed-price, cost-plus, or performance-based) to ensure contract profitability.
Contract & Customer Management
- Ensure compliance with O&M; contracts, environmental conditions, and performance guarantees.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding site operations and reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports for stakeholders.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop site teams, including supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Support recruitment, training, and technical progression plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture and coordinate with HR and EHS for workforce planning.
Requisitos
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a relevant technical field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years in O&M; or operations within renewable energy or industrial environments.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role leading technical teams.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of wind and/or solar O&M; practices and safety programs.
- Experience with SCADA systems, CMMS, and maintenance planning tools.
Management Skills:
- Proven experience managing O&M; service contracts and SLAs in a multi-client environment.
- Ability to manage budgets and operational KPIs.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and visit remote sites.
- Availability to travel.
