Senior Software Engineer - Relocation Spain
Join Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía as a Senior Software Engineer to work on an important project located in Madrid, in a hybrid job modality.
What we are looking for
- Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience.
- Availability to join a stable project in Madrid.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Hybrid telework arrangement; full‑time position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Solid knowledge in object‑oriented programming.
- At least 5 years of experience programming with C++.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in the aerospace sector.
Desirable Experience or Knowledge
- Simulation projects applied to the Defense and/or Aeronautical sector.
- Development of user interfaces with Qt/QML, WPF, or similar technologies.
- Principles and best practices in UI/UX design.
- Programming with C# and .NET.
- Development of geographic information systems (GIS) using ArcGIS, Carmenta Engine, or similar platforms.
- Development of real‑time and distributed systems, preferably using DDS.
- Video game engines and/or 3D graphics.
- UML modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
- Version control tools like Git, CI/CD with Jenkins or similar.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of new software functionalities requested by the client, within the framework of adaptive and evolutionary maintenance programs of our systems.
- Redesign and modernize existing user interfaces, improving user experience and optimizing usability.
- Perform software testing to ensure the quality and proper functioning of the systems.
- Provide technical support to engineers deployed at client facilities, including diagnosing and resolving software issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
