Experteer Overview In this role you will own analytical performance specifications for Blood Gas and Electrolyte parameters, bridging electrochemistry, math, and medical technology to deliver clinically robust diagnostics. You will define measurement methods, develop signal interpretation models, and advance data-driven diagnostic accuracy within a regulated, cross-functional team. Your work supports Roche’s mission to diagnose earlier and personalize treatment, impacting patient health at scale. - Own analytical performance specifications for BGE parameters
- Define and optimize electrochemical and optical measurement methods across sensor, hardware, and software teams
- Create robust models for measurement and calibration and translate physical principles into signal interpretation algorithms
- Apply model-based design and machine learning to improve data workflows and diagnostic accuracy
- Investigate product issues deeply and develop remedial solutions to maintain peak performance
- Manage tolerance budgets and ensure traceability to global reference materials
- Lead planning and execution of functional and stability tests using statistical characterization
- Drive complex problem solving to address real-world product issuesResponsabilidades
- Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field (e.G., Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics)
- 7+ years of professional industry experience
- In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) knowledge and analytical requirements
- Experience with ISO 13485, CLSI guidelines for analytical performance, and FMEA
- Strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent ability to communicate technical results to international teams and maintain documentation
- Collaborative mindset in a regulated, agile environment
