Our client is an industrial company located in Baix Llobregat (Barcelona), with a growing focus on solutions currently in high demand by so many sectors. The plant is geared toward high-volume, long-run production, where operational efficiency is critical due to tight product margins.They are currently undergoing a digital transformation phase, with strategic projects focused on digitizing production processes, capturing plant data, and optimizing technical product management. The company culture values continuous improvement, cross-department collaboration, and process standardization.
¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?
You will be responsible, in collaboration with the plant management and department heads, for all development projects identified in the maintenance area (preventive maintenance, trend analysis, spare parts management) and in production or prepress (trend analysis, optimization projects). Reporting to the Plant Director, your main responsibilities will include:
3. Lead & develop projects/new ways of working in the maintenance area.
4. Management and/or participation in improvement/development projects on production/printing lines (productivity and quality).
5. Monitoring Maintenance and Production KPIs and analyzing them together with department heads.
6. Collaboration in managing various certifications within your scope: ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Chain of Custody (PEFC/FSC) standards in the production area.
7. Collaboration and design of the maintenance department strategy (structure, roles, key KPIs to measure performance)
8. Lead and manage continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant productivity (LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma)
9. Collaborate with department heads in the implementation of digitalization projects
10. Acting as backup for the Maintenance Manager.
¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?
11. Academic background in Technical Engineering or similar (specialization in industrial processes or digitization is a plus).
12. At least 3 years of experience in industrial environments, ideally in production or process improvement.
13. Previous experience with tools such as DACO, MES, CMMS, or plant digitization projects is a plus.
14. English level of at least B2.
15. Strong analytical and process conceptualization skills.
16. Accuracy and attention to detail.
17. Communication and teamwork skills.
18. Proactivity, foresight, and results orientation.
19. Ability to manage and coordinate work groups on the shop floor.
