By supporting the Risk and Payments area, this role will contribute to the success in giving the customers the best experience regarding payments, providing a safe platform environment ensuring that conversion is optimal to generate revenue.
Your role will be:
* Proactively manage chargebacks and payments disputes, gathering supporting evidence and processing written correspondence to successfully recover funds.
* Optimize anti-fraud software performance and conduct detailed segmentation analysis.
* Identify, investigate, and report fraudulent transactions, implementing strategies to minimize financial loss.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to prevent fraud and maintain robust online security.
* Support the integration and testing of new payment methods across various markets.
* Monitor and report on key fraud and payment performance indicators (KPIs).
* Support e-commerce operations by identifying and escalating any technical issues related to payments.
* Continuously identify and implement improvements within the evolving risk landscape. Detect growth and improvement opportunities.
* Act as a central liaison, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Finance) and managing risk considerations across different regions.
What is important for the role:
* 2+ years of experience in e-commerce fraud prevention, payments or risk management.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Criminal Justice, Finance, Payments, or Business Administration.
* International expertise in online fraud management.
* Experience with machine learning fraud detection software and payment platforms (e.g., Adyen, Riskified).
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerBI.
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills and high level of attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
