BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a Middle Office Analyst. In this role, you will provide daily support to the Commercial team on the operational side, including financial and position backup, translation of trading activities into daily position and P&L; reports, and serve as a central point of contact for trading operation tasks. You will support trade flow verifications and accuracy of each transaction, ensure consistency and completeness of the data flow across departments and systems, and drive automation and efficiency improvements to current reporting processes and tools.

Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and reliable daily VC Commodity Positions & PL report, including new trades, freight positions, and CANI vessel execution impacts.
- Reconcile and publish the Daily Position & PL, send trade slips and interoffice futures transfers as required.
- Consolidate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to meet reporting requirements.
- Prepare and explain daily P&L; changes, including analysis of main drivers of the daily result.
- Provide information, assistance, and analysis to the commercial team.
- Optimize Excel‑based reports to reduce manual tasks, minimize human error, and improve production speed.
- Create ad‑hoc reports and projects and perform other duties as requested.
- Monitor and check consistency of contractual changes with traders, operations, and contracts.
- Review accrual reports, extra costs, and bad debt reports; follow up and align with commercial owners and finance departments to understand drivers and impacts.
- Collect, review, and confirm month‑end inputs required for closing (prices, freight rates, base locations, volumes).
- Reconcile monthly results with Accounting (MTM, prices, execution, extra costs).
- Collaborate across functions to identify and resolve gaps during month‑end closing.
- Conduct margin analysis, identify main buckets of the margin structure, and explain drivers of structural and trading components.
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or control preferably in the commodity trading industry.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
- High proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to deal with complex problems involving non‑standardized situations.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen; good understanding of commodity trading and mark‑to‑market is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team or independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
