The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC‑CNS) is the leading supercomputing centre in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, and has been a founding member of the former European HPC infrastructure PRACE and the current hosting entity for EuroHPC JU. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies to facilitate scientific progress, combining HPC service provision with R&D in computational science across life, earth and engineering disciplines. Context and Mission
The AI Factory is a major European project aimed at accelerating the adoption and development of artificial intelligence across industry and the public sector. It delivers a comprehensive set of AI‑focused services, including robust training, networking and innovation support. Its mission is to foster the uptake and effective use of AI, particularly among SMEs, startups and public bodies, strengthening the European innovation ecosystem.
The AI Factory Public Bodies Key Account Manager (KAM) supports public organisations in their journey toward AI adoption. The KAM identifies AI innovation opportunities for the public sector and guides organisations in leveraging BSC AI Factory services and resources to inform public policy design and improve public service delivery.
Key Duties
* Engage with public organisations to identify AI use cases with operational or strategic impact.
* Provide initial guidance on AI solution adoption from ideation to integration.
* Guide public organisations through the BSC AI Factory one‑stop shop to access services and resources.
* Collaborate with technical teams to define realistic AI project scopes, tailor data sources or software tools aligned with contextual constraints.
* Propose tailored support activities and services, including training, prototype development and operational deployment for public organisations.
Requirements
* Education
o Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences or engineering.
* Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Deep knowledge of public sector innovation drivers (citizen attention, smart cities, territory planning, public safety, social services, etc.).
o Capability to frame AI value propositions around public service delivery and citizen impact.
o Experience in stakeholder engagement activities.
* Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Familiarity with public funding projects, especially European funding schemes.
* Competences
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English compulsory).
o Familiarity with project management methodologies and CRM tools.
o Problem‑solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
Conditions
* Location: BSC, Directorate Department.
* Full‑time contract (37.5 h/week). Flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support for relocation procedures.
* Duration: 3 years.
* Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st December as per collective agreement.
* Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and adjusted for the cost of living in Barcelona.
* Starting date: May or June.

Recruitment Process
* Curriculum Analysis – Evaluation of experience, education and training (40 points).
* Interview Phase – Technical and HR interview assessing competencies (60 points). Minimum 30 points required to be eligible.
The recruitment panel will include at least three people with at least 25 % women representation.
