About The RoleAs a Senior FP&A Controller for WIBU within our Madrid Center of Excellence, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision‐making across the business unit.
In close collaboration with local controllers and global stakeholders, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities that ensure accurate, data‐driven insights. Leveraging advanced analytics, you will safeguard the integrity of financial information, challenge assumptions, and provide meaningful recommendations to guide the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and consolidate the annual budget
Refresh periodic financial forecasts periodically and MIS (Monthly information Summary) preparation support
Conduct profitability and performance reporting
Perform plant analytics and risk management; managing and continuously improving the financial planning and analysis processes
Provide recommendations to the business based on in‐depth financial analysis
Manage collections reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate and timely information to support decision‐making
Provide comprehensive reporting and analytics on procurement activities, contributing to informed purchasing decisions
Oversee the period close processes, generating accurate and insightful period‐end financial reports and analytics to ensure financial integrity
Handle period‐end closing and related analytics, ensuring thorough and precise financial tracking and reporting for operations
Ensure CAPEX planning, forecasting, investment strategy, period‐end close activities and reporting
Ensure all financial reporting and processes comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Ensure internal controls are in place for the processes performed by this role
Comply with relevant QESH regulations
You Need To Succeed
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field, with 5–7 years of FP&A or similar finance experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred).
Strong financial modelling, forecasting and data analytics capabilities, with solid financial acumen.
Strong understanding of global financial processes, standards and integrated ERP environments.
Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to leadership and strong interpersonal skills for cross‐functional collaboration.
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Tagetik, Qlik Sense or Power BI is a plus.
Proficiency in English.
