Category Manager - Product & Marketing
As the newest member of our Product & Marketing department, you will define the strategy and marketing mix for assigned products across relevant distribution channels and target groups. You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of plans according to local needs while remaining strictly aligned with our global and regional strategy. You will also act as the key internal and international point of contact for your assigned categories, serving as the vital link between global, regional, and local teams.
Responsibilities
* Category Strategy: Forecast market development and design growth plans. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of competitors, pricing, and trends to identify portfolio gaps.
* Marketing Mix (4Ps): * Product: Curate the best range for the local market and target consumers.
* Price: Set competitive pricing and RRP guidelines aligned with global margin targets.
* Place: Maximize product presence and listings in high-potential channels.
* Promotion: Own the national promo plan and support Sales/KAMs with pricing calculations and volume forecasting.
* Go-to-Market & Launches: Lead the annual GTM strategy and manage New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring proper budget allocation and sales volume commitments.
* Financial Oversight: Drive monthly forecasting and sales budgets in coordination with Sales, Finance, and Logistics.
* Profitability & Quality: Analyze the ROI of products and promotions while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Qualifications
* University degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
* Desirable +3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role.
* Fluency in English is required.
