The company operates across multiple markets in Europe, Africa and Latin America and is experiencing strong growth at the intersection of technology, logistics and the collaborative economy. The Legal function plays a key role in supporting the business, ensuring compliance with employment regulations and managing labour relations in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
This role will report directly to the Legal Director – Employment Law and will play a relevant part in supporting the company's employment law strategy in Spain, working closely with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day employment law advice to the business and HR teams.
* Support the Legal Director in the management of labour relations and employment law strategy.
* Handle employment law matters related to hiring, terminations, disciplinary actions and workforce management.
* Manage and coordinate matters related to Social Security, labour inspections and administrative proceedings, liaising with the relevant authorities.
* Participate in the management of labour litigation, inspections and disputes, coordinating with external law firms when required.
* Assist in the preparation of legal strategies for disputes, negotiations and settlement agreements.
* Support relationships with works councils, employee representatives and trade unions.
* Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of employment law compliance frameworks, including Third Party Logistics (3PL) arrangements.
* Monitor legal and regulatory developments in employment law and assess their impact on the business.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legally sound and business-oriented solutions.
Requirements
* Law degree and Master's degree in Employment / Labour Law.
* Spanish-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, ideally gained within a top-tier law firm and/or an in-house environment.
* Solid experience advising on Spanish employment law matters, including Social Security and labour inspection procedures.
* Previous exposure to corporate, technology or fast-paced business environments is highly valued.
* Fluent Spanish and English (written and spoken).
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Practical, organised and solution-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a larger legal team.
