As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and providing support to assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will include:
1. Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
2. Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle.
3. Managing Digital Services opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
4. Designing technical solutions and building the entire business case.
5. Developing partner relationships to enhance the standard offering and value proposition.
6. Understanding and detecting customer needs, providing expert advice on IT solution design.
7. Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
8. Supporting commercial processes with sales teams, focusing on client technical needs and participating in solution definition.
9. Sharing technical knowledge from a sales perspective and training the support team.
10. Engaging proactively with global areas (Presales, Procurement, Operations, Finances) to meet client demands.
11. Collaborating with marketing and product teams for product training sessions.
12. Keeping up to date with digital technologies and industry trends.
13. Achieving sales targets, milestones, KPIs, and financial metrics.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Typically requires at least a BS/CS degree; MBA or MSc and relevant certifications (e.g., ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) are desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant in the digital industry, with experience in Presales and Operations.
3. Experience working with large accounts (IBEX35, CAC40, DAX) and managing global solutions for multinational companies.
4. Deep knowledge of the T-Tech organization and business processes.
5. Strong knowledge of the digital industry, market, and ecosystems, with a proven track record in business development.
6. Professional demeanor, technical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
7. Ability to balance business and customer requirements, demonstrating innovation and problem-solving skills.
8. Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
9. Excellent written skills, especially in bid writing and negotiation.
Languages:
* Fluent English is mandatory; German and Spanish are desirable.
