License Compliance Renewals Specialist
***This position is based in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Spain, and Italy, with remote/hybrid working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.***
The License Compliance Renewals Specialist protects and grows recurring LC revenue. The role manages the entire renewal motion for direct customers and supports partners on the renewals they oversee. It adds an explicit focus on onboarding and early-stage engagement for LC customers. The goal is simple. Understand what drives retention. Apply it consistently. Improve renewal performance across the portfolio. The Specialist keeps full visibility on renewal risk, enforces contractual commitments, and ensures every renewal reaches its maximum attainable value.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manages the full lifecycle of LC renewals. Tracks expirations, drives timely engagements, and closes renewals on or before deadline.
- Oversees contracted renewals. Ensures customers meet their contractual renewal obligations and coordinates escalation paths when needed.
- Supports resellers throughout their renewal cycles. Clarifies policies, validates documentation, and intervenes on at-risk renewals.
- Conducts structured onboarding and early-use follow ups for LC customers. Identifies friction points, gathers insights, and feeds back recommendations to improve retention.
- Identifies expansion signals. Spots usage patterns or compliance factors that influence renewal value.
- Builds a consistent renewal pipeline that meets quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintains exceptionally clean CRM records. Ensures every renewal opportunity is current, forecastable, and aligned with the sales planning process.
- Tracks renewal KPIs, risk categories, and forecast accuracy. Delivers timely reports and insights to sales management.
- Coordinates with Sales, Channel, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate order processing and entitlement handling.
- Runs a disciplined follow up cadence across all assigned accounts and partner deals.
- Collaborates with the Systems team to automate processes, protecting capacity and reducing administrative burden.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese will be considered a strong advantage.
- 3+ years of experience in renewals, account management, customer success, or inside sales.
- Strong commercial discipline with a track record managing recurring revenue.
- Solid understanding of software licensing models and subscription renewal mechanics.
- Ability to manage high-volume portfolios with competing deadlines.
- Clear, concise communication over email and phone.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort enforcing policy boundaries.
- Autonomous, structured, and consistent in daily execution.
- University degree.
