What you will do
Mission: What you will do…
oAnalyze the evolution of the needs of the plant supply transport over the medium term (8 weeks).
oOptimizing the means of transport programmed in the short-mid-term.
oPerform optimization of unscheduled requirements and analyze them to integrate into programming.
oBuild transport schedules that meet the cost, time and quality objectives of each studied scope.
oDevelop a transport plan with capacity consistent with plant activity (programming rate of about 85%).
oSet up transport documentation when starting a new project or when deploying our information systems to a new supplier or customer plant.
oContribute to the relationship between the carrier, the inbound Performance Manager and the transport destination plant.
oBuild, implement and disseminate ETPs (Exceptional Transport Plans related to periods not rolled)
oBuild, implement and disseminate partial transport plans that respond to a particular activity of the plant (days not worked on a plant, week at reduced rate, plant shutdown).
oProvides analysis, processing and response to first-level support questions for operations from factories, transporters, suppliers and standard packaging management team.
oEnsure in turn the on-call transport operations outside the standard hours of the operations teams.
oAdjust the transport plan according to customer needs not taken into account by the scheduled transport: cancel or charter transport to meet deviations from the forecast plan.
oSet up and manage urgent transports (troubleshooting).
oMonitor and treat transport problems impacting supplies: treat malfunctions or alert with the necessary reactivity by following the standard escalation process, ensuring constant communication with the factory customer.
Education & Experience: What We Are Looking For…
oA higher technical degree in Supply Chain.
oGood level of English (B2 as a minimum is required). French language is valuable.
oCertifications in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain management.
oRelevant experience in transportation management or a related field (min 1 year).
oKnowledge of supply chain processes.
oFamiliarity with transportation management systems (TMS/SAP) is desirable.
oFamiliarity with the unique challenges and requirements of transporting goods in the industry (automotive is valuable).
oKnowledge of transportation regulations, compliance standards, and international shipping requirements is essential.
oKnowledge of relevant software and tools.
