General Responsibility
The Business Development Specialist will define the company's portfolio and identify new solutions for patients. The role involves supporting candidate identification, project evaluation through cross-functional teams, and presenting proposals to the board. Collaboration with the Business Development team and external departments is essential.
Specific Responsibilities
* Prospect, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide.
* Conduct market research and therapeutic area analysis.
* Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose solutions or business models.
* Coordinate teams and resolve issues during project evaluation.
* Provide regular reports on progress and opportunities.
* Assist with other activities in the Business Development Department.
Requirements and Personal Skills:
* Languages: Spanish and English (advanced level).
* Experience: 1-2 years in the pharma industry, preferably in business development (generic business).
* Knowledge: Excel skills, data analysis.
* Travels: No (occasional to 1-2 conferences/year).
* Personal Skills: Excellent communication, proactive, goal-oriented, self-motivated, decision-driven, independent and team worker, organized, and problem solver.
