Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail‐oriented Finance Analyst Intern to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate with strong analytical skills, a curiosity for financial processes, and a desire to gain hands‐on experience in financial reporting and data analysis.
The intern will support key financial activities, including month‐end balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly reconciliations of central accruals, dashboards, and variance analyses.
* Perform data analysis to identify excess or defects in accruals/provisions and identify improvement opportunities.
* Support monitoring of compliance with internal financial controls and corporate policies.
* Contribute to process documentation, standardisation, and internal control reviews.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to support financial operations and ad‐hoc analysis.
* Support automation and simplification of reporting files using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other analytics solutions.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of financial reporting, accounting fundamentals, or IFRS principles.
* Experience with Power BI, SQL, or other analytics tools.
* Previous internship or academic project in finance.
